Last week, I reunited with kindred spirits Melody, Ronna, Verna, Maan, Jake, Mhigs, and Mel. And fun, I should say, is an understatement.
It was weird hearing them talk about their high school and elementary students. Their stories are border line crazy and funny. Some of which are soooo hilarious, we all peed in our pants.
I kind of wonder if I’ll ever have stories like that to share. Although I teach, it’s never really in the same arena as I teach people in their 20’s. I wondered if I’ll call the students “anak” (my child) the way that they all do. I wondered if I’ll ever be as proud as they are of their professions.
Sigh. I guess I’ll never find out.

You come from Point A, I'm from Point B. Everyone has his own origin, but I'm pretty sure about this: that you and I have intersected, at one point or another. Or if we haven't, I'm pretty sure we will... one of these days.
