say it with me, I love my mom and dad

That’s good. Hate on your parents for not getting the Apple products that you want, while I sit here, trying to remember the last Holiday I spent with my father. He passed away on 2003. And right now, I want nothing more than to spend at least one more day with him. Not even Christmas, not even New Year. Just one normal day, just one day when I can hug him and hear his voice.

I’m not being self-righteous. I WANTED A LOT OF THINGS WHEN I WAS YOUR AGE TOO. But I never, ever told my parents that I hate them so much because of it.

Speaking as a young adult, I learned that our parents only want the best for us. We may want material things so much that sometimes it hurts not to have them, and believe me, our parents hurt too when they’re not able to give our desires to us. But they can only do so much. They can’t afford every Apple product that we feel like we NEED. They’re still trying to make ends meet, and the last thing that they need is for us to announce to the world how much of a “bitch”, “cunt” and “twat” they are because they did not give us our precious iPhone or iPad.

Now, speaking as a teacher, where did you even get that vocabulary? Your parents are sending you to good schools to learn. Maybe it’s time to start learning Math, Physics or whatever subject you’re flunking right now instead of focusing on how many ways you can curse someone.

When you grow up and start earning your own money, then you’ll realize that your parents gave you the best that they can afford. You will realize that their 40 hour a week jobs aren’t paying them enough, and you’ll be left wondering how on earth you were able to finish high school, go to college and eat three meals in a day.

Just you wait.

You come from Point A, I'm from Point B. Everyone has his own origin, but I'm pretty sure about this: that you and I have intersected, at one point or another. Or if we haven't, I'm pretty sure we will... one of these days.
